📦 WHAT’S INCLUDED

Each size includes exactly five PDF documents. All versions include OPEN FIRST, the Mirrored Section and Color Guide, and the Paper Piecing Tutorial. The two FPP files depend on your selected size.

30 × 39 inches

  • FPP Color — US Letter
  • Complete FPP Blank — US Letter

No A2 version is included in this size.

50 × 65 and 70 × 91 inches

  • FPP Color — US Letter
  • FPP Color — A2

These sizes include neither a separate complete Blank pattern nor appended Blank reference pages.

.

🖨️ PRINTING & FILE FORMAT

  • 30 × 39: 34 Color pattern pages plus 1 reference page in US Letter. The separate complete Blank file also contains 34 pattern pages plus 1 reference page.
  • 50 × 65: 94 Color pattern pages in US Letter or 20 in A2, each with 1 reference page.
  • 70 × 91: 176 Color pattern pages plus 2 reference/index pages in US Letter; or 40 Color pattern pages plus 1 reference page in A2.

Color pattern page counts exclude reference/index pages. The US Letter and A2 versions supplied for a given size produce the same finished dimensions.

Print at 100% / Actual Size, without Fit to Page or automatic scaling. Check the scale square before printing the complete pattern. A2 requires a compatible large-format printer or print service and reduces the number of sheets to organize and join.

Printing the US Letter pattern to fit A4 may reduce it to approximately 97.7%, slightly reducing the finished dimensions.

.

📐 CHOOSING YOUR SIZE

Choose the finished dimensions that suit your project and available workspace. The 30 × 39-inch version offers the most comfortable balance between sewing and paper preparation across the three sizes. The larger versions require more workspace and more paper assembly before sewing, particularly when using US Letter.

.

🧵 SEWING NOTES

  • 30 × 39: this version offers the most comfortable balance between sewing the pieces and preparing the paper templates across the three available sizes.
  • 30 × 39: its 34 US Letter Color pattern pages mean fewer sheets to organize and join before sewing than in the larger versions.
  • 50 × 65: organize the 94 US Letter Color pattern pages by section and check page joins as you assemble the paper templates before sewing. The A2 version reduces the Color pattern to 20 pages.
  • 70 × 91: allow enough workspace to sort and assemble the 176 US Letter Color pattern pages. Prepare the templates section by section and keep them clearly identified; A2 reduces the Color pattern to 40 pages.

.

🧶 FABRIC REQUIREMENTS

Fabric requirements vary by selected size. Check the fabric requirements shown in the product images before purchasing and use the information for your chosen finished dimensions.

.

📉 RESIZING

For a smaller version, calculate: (Desired size ÷ Purchased pattern size) × 100 = Print percentage. Use matching dimensions in the calculation and apply the same percentage to both axes.

For example, printing the 50 × 65-inch version at 80% produces a 40 × 52-inch version. Reduction also makes the pieces and printed seam allowances smaller. Check a test print before proceeding. Choose the closest suitable offered size rather than enlarging a smaller pattern.

A Joy to Create

This was actually quite enjoyable to make. Everything you provided was perfect. It was easy to modify the fabric selections to personalize this and also use my leftovers from other projects. The only suggestion I'd make is to use a wide stitch when joining of the pieces. Then, if necessary, make adjustments to match seams and restitch using smaller stitches. Thank you for all the hard work you did to create this pattern.
