If printing on A4, set your printer to 97.7 % for accurate dimensions.

This large-format version is intended for professional printing at 100 % scale and offers a more comfortable layout for assembling bigger designs.
The 30×42" and 50×70" versions remain formatted for US Letter.

📐 NEED A CUSTOM QUILT SIZE?

Multiple sizes are available (each sold separately).
You can resize the pattern using the included scaling formula:

(Desired size ÷ Pattern size) × 100 = Print percentage

👉 Example: A 30" pattern reduced to 24" = (24 ÷ 30) × 100 = 80 %

⚠ Important:
Scaling down is not recommended for the smallest version (30×42").
At that size, further reducing the pieces makes the design much harder to sew, particularly around detailed curves and angles.

Remember that seam allowances shrink proportionally when reducing. While this does not change the finished block dimensions, it can make the assembly more delicate. If needed, you can manually trim with a wider margin for comfort.

🎯 ABOUT COMPLEXITY

This pattern is rated intermediate.

The 30×42" size offers an intricate, compact workspace ideal for quilters who enjoy detailed piecing.
The 50×70" and 70×98" versions provide more breathing room and a more dramatic visual result.

⚠ Tip for the 70×98" format:
The pattern can be printed in US Letter, but it is much more comfortable to assemble using the A2 version.
Larger sheets reduce taping, improve accuracy when joining sections, and make the overall layout easier to manage.
Plan to print the A2 file at a copy shop.
