The MINI, BABY, CRIB, and THROW versions include 6 PDF documents. The TWIN version includes 5 PDF documents, with an additional A2 color printing option instead of the blank FPP templates.

🖨 PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS

All sizes include US Letter printing files (8.5×11"), suitable for standard home printers.

Print at 100% or Actual Size to maintain the intended dimensions.

If printing on A4 instead of US Letter, the final quilt dimensions will be reduced to approximately 97.7% of the intended size. No manual adjustment to 97.7% is required.

70×90" TWIN only: An additional A2 color printing format (16.5×23.4") is included for professional large-format printing at 100%.

IMPORTANT FOR LARGE SIZES: The THROW and TWIN versions require substantial paper taping before sewing, as many sections span multiple US Letter sheets.

The A2 format is strongly recommended for the TWIN version, as it significantly reduces the number of pages to print and tape together, simplifying the preparation of this large-scale quilt.

📐 NEED A CUSTOM QUILT SIZE?

The larger versions can be reduced proportionally using:

(Desired size ÷ Pattern size) × 100 = Print percentage

Example: To create a 40×52" quilt from the 50×65" pattern:

(40 ÷ 50) × 100 = 80%

When resizing, both the pieces and seam allowances decrease proportionally. In Foundation Paper Piecing, the exact seam allowance width is not critical, provided enough fabric remains for comfortable sewing and trimming.

Significant reductions may make smaller details harder to sew.

Reducing the 20×29" MINI version is not recommended, as several pieces are already compact. Enlargement beyond 100% is not recommended.

🎯 SKILL LEVEL

Intermediate. Suitable for confident beginners with previous FPP experience.

The sewing experience varies depending on the selected size:

• MINI (20×29"): Compact project requiring precision around smaller facial details.

• BABY (30×40"): Manageable format with slightly more comfortable pieces.

• CRIB (36×52"): A balance between piece size and ease of handling.

• THROW (50×65"): Larger pieces, but substantial paper taping and additional workspace are required.

• TWIN (70×90"): Generous piece dimensions and a large finished quilt requiring careful organization. A2 printing is strongly recommended to reduce preparation time.

   

   

📏 WHICH SIZE SHOULD YOU CHOOSE?

Choose MINI for a compact wall hanging, BABY or CRIB for smaller decorative quilts, THROW for a sofa-sized project, or TWIN for a large bed quilt. Larger versions offer more comfortable piece dimensions but require additional workspace and preparation.
