🐾 Cocker Spaniel Quilt Pattern – Rich Gold Edition (FPP PDF)

A radiant tribute to one of the most affectionate and graceful dog breeds — the Cocker Spaniel.
This Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) quilt pattern celebrates the gentle expression, silky ears, and golden coat of the Spaniel in a clean, geometric style. With warm tones and sharp contrasts, fabric transforms into an expressive portrait full of character.

With 558 pieces, 60 sections, and 8 colors, this design offers both detail and flow — a rewarding project for quilters who enjoy precision. Whether stitched as a heartfelt pet portrait, a decorative wall quilt, or a bold centerpiece throw, this pattern shines with warmth and elegance.

Other coat color versions of the Cocker Spaniel are also available, so you can choose the one that best matches your pup.

You can scale your print to any dimension using the formula:
(Desired size ÷ Pattern size) × 100 = Print percentage

👉 Example: To make a 30" design into 24", use (24 ÷ 30) × 100 = 80%
⚠ Works only for reductions. For enlargements, purchase a larger size.

🎯 ABOUT COMPLEXITY

This pattern is rated intermediate.
It includes 60 sections and 558 pieces across 8 colors.

  • The 30" size is more compact, great for smaller projects, but requires sewing finer details.

  • The 50" and 70" sizes offer easier handling of pieces and striking visual impact, though they need more space and organization.

Best suited for quilters with some FPP experience, but still achievable for confident beginners ready for a structured project.
