🖨 PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS

All patterns are designed for standard US Letter paper.

• Print at 100% (actual size) to obtain the intended finished dimensions.

• When printing on A4 instead of US Letter, the final output will be reduced to approximately 97.7% of the intended dimensions. No manual scaling to 97.7% is required.

• Always check your printer settings to avoid unintended scaling.

   

CHOOSING YOUR SIZE

For larger sizes, allow sufficient preparation time to join printed pages where necessary and organize your foundations before sewing. A clear workspace and systematic section labeling will simplify assembly.

📐 RESIZING YOUR PATTERN

With three sizes included for every design, you can select the version closest to your intended finished dimensions.

30×30" – SMALLEST SIZE

Further reduction is not recommended. Some pieces are already compact, particularly around facial features and narrow geometric details. Reducing them further may make accurate sewing difficult.

50×50" AND 70×70" – LARGER SIZES

These versions can be reduced to create smaller quilts.

Use the following formula:

(Desired size ÷ Pattern size) × 100 = Print percentage

Examples:

• 50×50" → 40×40": print at 80%.

• 70×70" → 56×56": print at 80%.

   

All pieces and seam allowances decrease proportionally. The finished dimensions are determined by the sewing lines, so the design retains its original proportions.

Significant reductions may make detailed pieces harder to sew. Whenever possible, choose the included size closest to your intended project.

Enlargement beyond 100% is not recommended.

Intermediate – Suitable for confident beginners with previous FPP experience and experienced quilters.

The five designs contain between 351 and 532 pieces, organized into clearly identified sections for structured assembly.

The sewing experience varies depending on your chosen size:

30×30" – Compact and detailed

Requires precision, careful fabric positioning, and good lighting, particularly around eyes and intricate facial features. Its smaller format offers easier workspace management, fewer printed pages, and less paper assembly.

50×50" – Comfortable fabric handling

Larger pieces make detailed areas easier to position and sew. The project remains manageable but requires additional space for preparing foundations, joining pages, and organizing sections.

70×70" – Large-format quilting

Generous pieces make detailed sewing more comfortable. The main challenges are project organization, preparing and taping additional printed pages, and handling large assembled sections. A dedicated workspace and systematic labeling are recommended.
