Terms of sale
Effective as of July 12, 2025
ARTICLE 1 - Scope
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "T&Cs") apply, without restriction or reservation, to all sales concluded by the Seller with non-professional buyers ("the Clients or the Client") wishing to purchase the products offered for sale ("the Products") by the Seller on the website https://modernquiltpatterns.com/.
The Products offered for sale on the site are:
- Digital sewing patterns (PDF format)
- Customized digital sewing patterns (PDF format)
The main characteristics of the Products, including specifications, illustrations, and dimensions, are presented on the website https://modernquiltpatterns.com/, which the Client is required to read before placing an order.
The choice and purchase of a Product are the sole responsibility of the Client.
Product offers are valid while visible on the website, within the limits of available stock.
These T&Cs are available at any time on the website and shall prevail over any other document.
The Client declares having read and accepted these T&Cs by checking the box provided for this purpose before proceeding with the online order process.
Unless proven otherwise, the data recorded in the Seller's computer system constitutes proof of all transactions concluded with the Client.

ARTICLE 2 - Prices
The Products are supplied at the prices in effect on the website https://modernquiltpatterns.com/ at the time the order is registered by the Seller.
Prices are expressed in Euros, including and excluding tax. Any applicable discounts granted by the Seller are already reflected in the prices.
Prices are firm and non-revisable during their period of validity. However, the Seller reserves the right to modify prices at any time outside of this period.
Prices include any processing and digital delivery fees. No physical delivery is provided.
The amount due by the Client corresponds to the total purchase price. An invoice is issued by the Seller and sent electronically to the Client.
ARTICLE 3 - Orders
The Client must select the desired Products on the website, following these steps:
The Client selects an item and adds it to their cart, which can be modified or deleted before final confirmation and acceptance of the present T&Cs. The Client then enters their personal information and selects a payment method. After confirming the details, the order is considered final and payment is due according to the stated terms.
Product offers are valid as long as they are visible on the site and within the limits of available stock.
The sale is only considered valid after full payment.
The Client is responsible for verifying the accuracy of the order and immediately reporting any error.
Any order placed on the website constitutes a remote contract between the Client and the Seller.
The Seller reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a Client with whom there is a dispute regarding payment of a previous order.
ARTICLE 4 - Custom Orders
4-1 - Framing, Validation, and Scope
Custom projects (particularly personalized portrait patterns) are subject to a specific scope defined and approved by the Client before any design work begins. This scope includes:
- The reference photo selected by the Client,
- The general visual style (e.g. black and white, level of simplification),
- The framing (portrait by default),
- And any other information clearly stated by the Client at the time of ordering.
An explicit written confirmation (by email or written message) is required before any work begins. Without this confirmation, the project will not proceed.
4-2 - Preview Validation
When a preview (draft) is sent to the Client, it is the Client's responsibility to share any feedback or requested modifications within 7 calendar days. After this period — or upon explicit approval — the project is considered validated and cannot be modified without the issuance of a new quote.
Any change involving framing, pose, or design complexity beyond the originally agreed scope will require a separate project and new pricing.
4-3 - Client Responsibility
It is the Client’s responsibility to clearly express expectations at the time of ordering. If no specific instructions are provided, the artist will proceed based on her standard style and working method as shown on the website.
Unstated expectations cannot be used later as a basis for complaint or revision requests.
4-4 - Limitations on Claims and Refunds
Personalized orders, once approved step by step by the Client, cannot be refunded or disputed after the draft has been validated, except in cases of clear failure to meet the written specifications.
These terms are designed to ensure transparency, respect the creative process, and protect both parties throughout the collaboration.
ARTICLE 5 - Digital Products
The items sold in this shop are digital products only, primarily sewing patterns delivered in PDF format.
5.0 Download and Access
Once payment is confirmed, a download link is made available immediately. Customers are strongly encouraged to download and save the files without delay, as access may be time-limited or restricted by number of downloads.

All products sold in this shop are digital and non-tangible. Therefore, no returns, refunds or exchanges are accepted once a file has been downloaded or accessed.

The Seller is not required to deliver Products if full payment has not been received.
ARTICLE 8 - Delivery
Standard digital patterns are delivered immediately after payment via a download link displayed on screen and sent by email.
For customized orders (e.g., custom patterns), an average delivery time of 4 weeks applies from the date of the order, except in urgent cases specifically agreed with the Seller. The estimated timeline will be communicated during prior discussions.
The Client has 7 days after receipt to report any defect by email with supporting evidence. Beyond this period, Products are considered compliant.
