Each design comes in all three finished sizes. Every size-specific package contains OPEN FIRST with project instructions and fabric requirements, the corresponding FPP files, a Mirrored Section and Color Guide, and a Paper Piecing Tutorial.
All 30 × 42-inch packages include Color and a separate complete Blank pattern in US Letter. Larger packages include Color in US Letter and A2, with selected Blank references appended for every 50 × 70-inch design except Winter Penguin, and only for Winter Owl and Polar Bear at 70 × 98 inches; no larger package includes a separate complete Blank pattern.

Print at 100% / Actual Size for the stated finished dimensions. Disable Fit to Page and other automatic scaling options, and check the supplied scale-test square before printing the complete pattern.
When printing a US Letter file on A4 paper, the pattern will print at approximately 97.7% of its intended dimensions. This is the resulting scale and is not a percentage to enter manually.
A2 produces the same finished quilt size with fewer sheets and less paper joining; use an A2-compatible printer or print shop.

🧵 SEWING NOTES
These detailed geometric animal designs require careful fabric placement, accurate section alignment and organized preparation, particularly around eyes, facial features, antlers and feathers. Smaller sizes produce physically smaller pieces; larger sizes offer more room within detailed areas but require more workspace for paper preparation and section handling. The included Paper Piecing Tutorial explains the FPP technique.

📐 RESIZING
All three prepared sizes are included for every design, so start with the version closest to your intended finished dimensions.
To reduce a pattern:
(Desired size ÷ Purchased pattern size) × 100 = Print percentage
For example, printing a 50 × 70-inch version at 80% produces 40 × 56 inches. Apply the same percentage to both dimensions.
Pieces and seam allowances decrease proportionally. Greater reductions make small details more delicate to sew, especially when reducing the smallest version. Enlargement beyond 100% is not recommended.
